Conventional wristwatches bored me. Not their movements — I admire those. But their form. For over a century, only the dial, the material, and the calibre change. The form stays the same. The same object in the same place.
I am not a watchmaker. I am a designer. Watchmaking has never been reinvented from within — it has always been reinvented by someone who looked at it from the outside. They were visionaries who saw what existed through different eyes. I am an inventor, not a watchmaker. And that is precisely what makes the difference.
Why 104?
Because great ideas don’t come on the first try.
Behind the number 104 lie more than 1,000 designs, sketches, and technical developments.
104 prototypes were built, tested, modified, and reimagined time and again.
The 104th prototype was the moment when a vision became reality.
It was the first design that fully realized our idea: a rotating and tilting ring watch that combines time and jewelry into a new whole.
That’s why it doesn’t have a fanciful name.
It carries its own story.
